Welcome to First Baptist Preschool! We believe that parents have the greatest influence on their preschoolers life, and count it a privilege in partnering with parents as they lead their preschoolers on their faith journey. Our goal is that by the time a child is five years old they we will know Three Basic Truths:

  • God Made Me-Psalm 139:13-14
  • God Loves Me-Romans 8:38-39
  • Jesus Wants to be My Friend Forever-John 3:16
  • Sunday Mornings

    9:00am-12:00pm First Steps-Babies-Toddlers Preschool Area

    9:00 am-12:00pm Adventure Zone-Two’s-Kindergarten Preschool Area

    Wednesday Evenings (during school year)

    6:00-7:30pm Childcare (Birth-2 years)

    6:00-7:30pm AWANA Cubbies (3’s-PreK)

    First Steps: Babies-Toddlers

We at FBC believe that learning and faith development begins at birth. We use First Look Curriculum with babies through toddlers to teach the three basic truths. This is accomplished by using songs, rhymes, finger plays and simple Bible word stories.

    Adventure Zone-Learning about God from A-Z: 2 yrs-K

Twos, threes, and fours continue to use the First Look curriculum and the Kindergarteners use 252 Basics curriculum. In the 9:00am hour, the preschoolers are in small groups that take part in music, Bible story, craft and snack time. All activities are age appropriate and planned to help lay a foundation for faith in God. The 10:30 hour focuses on introducing preschoolers to praise and worship. Preschoolers meet in a large group where they have their own worship service. Adventure Zone worship uses praise and worship music, Bible story tellers, puppets and skits to reinforce the Bible truths the preschoolers are learning in small groups. Occasionally, we even have a visit from a Bible character! Adventure Zone worship is all about sharing God’s word in a fun, memorable way.

    AWANA Cubbies: 3’s-Pre-K

The AWANA Club for preschoolers is built on two premises:

1.Young children can and should receive spiritual training.

2.Home is the primary place for spiritual training.

Each week children will enjoy story time, book time and game time. During story time, the kids will come together to learn about simple Bible stories in a way that captures your child’s attention. During the week, parents will have the opportunity to explore a “Bear Hug” with their child from their Cubbie Handbook. During book time, the child will review with their teacher what they have learned at home and recite the short memory verse for the week. Also, children will enjoy fun-filled games that are age appropriate for your preschooler.

    Mommy and Me: Toddler-PreK

Events are planned monthly (September-May) to allow mothers and their children, toddler through Pre-K age, the opportunity to share fun experiences with their preschoolers at minimal cost. While having fun with their child, it also allows mothers the opportunity to fellowship with the other moms in a Christian atmosphere.
