What A Beautiful Name - This Morning
Today, our combined choirs, Student Choir, orchestra, and band join forces to present “What A Beautiful Name” in both services.
CarolSing - TONIGHT
The absolute favorite Christmas event of the year for many, our annual Carol Sing, happens TONIGHT. This is when we love hearing from our children, students, family groups, and more. Please join us again this evening!
Happy Birthday Jesus - Following CarolSing
Birthday Party for Jesus – TONIGHT. Who doesn’t enjoy a birthday party? And whose birthday is more important than that of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ? The party will begin immediately after Carol Sing in the Fellowship Hall at 7:30pm with cake and ice cream. Come and enjoy this time of fellowship and celebration.
LifeGroup Leadership Meeting - TODAY
There will be a LifeGroup Leadership Meeting TODAY, immediately following the morning services in the Fellowship Hall. All LifeGroup leadership is invited; teachers, co-teachers, outreach coordinators, fellowship coordinators, ministry coordinators and anyone else that takes an active role in leading the group. We will be discussing Life Group structure and how it will support the new church growth strategy moving forward. The coming year is going to have tremendous opportunities of witness, ministry, outreach and fellowship and our Life Groups will be leading the way in these efforts. We’re looking forward to seeing you at the meeting. Childcare is available to those with a prior reservation (birth – kindergarten).
PraizFest 2019 - Student Choir
Get ready for an exciting weekend, Friday night and Saturday, January 25-26, 2019, with a massive choir made up of students from all over the state under the direction of Clinician Dan Baker. PraizFest is for students grades 7-12. This will be an opportunity for us to meet, rehearse, and sing a finale concert with students from all over the state. Cost - $50 (cost includes – hotel room, PraizFest t-shirt, lunch on Saturday, and snacks throughout the event.) Location – First Baptist Church of Benton. TONIGHT - What a joy it has been to see a young man come straight out of college five years ago and start his worship-leading journey with us here at First. Tonight, as we gather in the Fellowship Hall after CarolSing, we not only celebrate Jesus’ birthday, we also celebrate Andrew Chandler’s 5th anniversary with FBC! Please join us in expressing what a blessing Andrew, Taylor and the boys have been to our church family and how we look forward to God’s continued blessing on them in the future.
The total given to date for the Global Missions Offering for 2018 is $87,533.03. Our total goal for 2018 is $100,000. You may still give to this 2018 offering through December 31.
SPAIN MISSION TRIP - The initial meeting of the Spain Mission Team will be Sunday January 6 th at 5:30 in rm #103/105. This is a MUST ATTEND MTG if you are planning on participating in the Spain mission trip! Questions??? Contact Bro. Greg
MTM – Men Teaching Men 3: Insights from Psalms and Proverbs - Free Bible study begins Wednesday evening, January 9, 2019 at 6:00pm in Room 109. Different teachers from the church to equip and encourage men of FBC on their journey of faith and service from the Bible. This time gleaning insights from various chapters of Psalms and Proverbs for practical daily applications. Sign up in the Commons. Just bring your Bibles and something to write on!
Women’s Bible study begins Wednesday evening, January 9, 2019 at 6:00pm in room 110 - the study of “Malachi” A Love That Never Lets Go by Lisa Harper. Women will gain a fresh perspective on the Book of Malachi. Even on your worst day, God won’t leave you. No matter how many times we mess up, God loves His broken people. Susan Shively will be leading this study. Sign-up in the commons.
The Senior Adults will have their monthly lunch and meeting on December 18 at noon, but come early to socialize. Everyone is asked to bring favorite holiday finger foods instead of the usual potluck dishes. Our speaker/entertainer will be James Talbert doing Bluegrass music. Come, bring a friend, and enjoy good fellowship and good food!

VERY, VERY IMPORTANT – if you will be using our online electronic giving, SecureGive, for your end of year contribution, you will need to allow 3-5 days for the transaction to process in order to be received by the church by December 31 and apply to 2018. FBC Cabot would like to extend a BIG THANKS to all of our paid child care workers who have faithfully cared for our children throughout the year. They have spent many hours taking care of our kids while we have been at Bible Studies, Parents Night Out, LifeGroup Christmas Fellowships and other events. We are blessed to have you and appreciate all you do!
