2019 D-Now Weekend – February 15-17
Students, don’t miss out on this weekend! DNOW is a spiritually engaging weekend and encourages small group discussion where students will get to know one another better as they dive into God’s Word and share how it impacts their lives. Daren Neely will be our guest speaker and leading us in worship will be the Kasey Earle Band. Cost is $75. Turn in your registration form and $35 non-refundable deposit to Student Ministry by February 3. Stop by the Commons Cup today to pick up a registration form. Parent Meeting for Students - TODAY
All parents of 7th-12th graders are invited to attend our Parent Meeting TODAY at Noon (or right after 10:30am service) in Room 210. We will be reviewing the details, cost, etc. for student calendar events like DNow, Super Summer, Mission Trips, and other activities.
Baby Bottle Campaign
We encourage you to stop by the area off the Commons today and pick up a baby bottle, fill it with loose change, and return it no later than Sunday, February 3. This money goes to support the ministry of Options Pregnancy Center.
Sanctity of Human Life
41st Annual March for Life will be Sunday, January 20, at 2:00pm beginning at Capitol Avenue and Wolfe Streets in Little Rock. To find out more information and for details and directions please go to www.artl.org/march-life.
Soup for the Soul
Soup for the Soul begins Wednesday, January 16, at noon in the Fellowship Hall. Free soup, cornbread and dessert. Come and enjoy this time of fellowship as Pastor Terry leads us in a Bible study and prayer.
TODAY, we will have a PARENT/STUDENT meeting for both Real Student Choir and Real Worship Collective (Student Band). The meeting will be starting @ 4:00 in the Choir Room. During our time, we will discuss some upcoming events and talk through our vision for 2019. Also, for those parents who would like to stay and can, we would love for you to sit in on a short rehearsal after our meeting. Everything will conclude by 5:00 pm. Senior Adults: This is a reminder - if you are going to see the Trumpter Swans and lunch at Mack’s Fish House on Tuesday Jan 15, we will be leaving the church parking lot at 9:30 am.
Daytime Grow meets this Tuesday at 10:00 AM in Room 107. This letter writing ministry helps First Baptist Church reach many new residents in Cabot, Ward & Austin. Come join us!
First Kids Worship cranks back up with huge plans TONIGHT. After our best fall ever, we can’t wait to see what this spring will be like. If you’re a child in grades 1-6, please come join us Sunday nights at 6:30 and see what all the excitement is about!
Annual Soup-er Bowl for First C.A.R.E. – We are again offering our church family an opportunity to participate in the annual Soup-er Bowl festivities in a unique way by donating canned soups for our First C.A.R.E. ministry. Look for the First C.A.R.E. Soup-er Bowl display in the corner of the Commons area (near the baby bottle display) and make a generous donation today. Thank You!!

Leadership Conference for Preschool & Children Teachers - We invite you to attend a very special leadership conference on Sunday, January 27th at 5:00pm in the Family Life Center. Our guest speaker will be Emily Smith, Children’s Ministry Specialist from the Arkansas Baptist State Convention.
