Growing together.

Walk with us as we love and worship God together.

First Baptist Cabot Student Ministry (aka R.E.A.L. Student Ministry) offers 5th-12th grade students an opportunity to come and experience the Word of God and participate in worship in a real and powerful way. Each week students are challenged to Read, Engage, Apply, and Live out God’s Word as they connect on Sunday mornings in Small Groups to study God’s Word and deepen their walk with Christ. In addition, each Wednesday night our student worship band kicks off with high energy worship followed by the sharing of God’s Word. R.E.A.L. Student Ministry offers regular events for students to grow in their walk with Christ, encourage one another, serve their community, and engage their world sharing the love of Christ. We have specific strategies and events tailored for each grade in our student ministry, but break our student ministry into 2 core groups - Junior Varsity (5th-8th grade) and Varsity (9th-12th grade).  We want you to be a part of our family and know there is a place for you to grow, serve, and share.  Come and let us walk with you as we love and worship God together. We desire nothing less than for His love and His Word to be REAL in your life as we live out our faith journey side by side as a family of believers in Jesus Christ.

Sunday Morning Small Groups (9am)

5th-6th Grade meet in the Middle School Area (Ignite) adjent to the Adult Education building
7th-12th Grade meet on the 2nd floor of the Adult Education building.

Students can stop by the area next to the security desk in the Commons area (big area outside of the sanctuary)
for help or more information.

Students are empowered on Sunday mornings to connect with Bible studies that meet them where they are as they get to choose a study that challenges them and encourages them in their walk with Christ.  There are offerings that are based on gender and grade, but we also have apologetic studies and life transformation studies that are open to all students that want to engage in either a deeper understanding of their faith or in growing more in their likeness of Christ.  These studies are evaluated each quarter to ensure that the most Biblically relevant studies are offered as we strive to equip students with contemporary studies that are rooted from God’s Word.

Wednesday Evenings

6pm in the Fellowship Hall

Each Wednesday Night our Student Ministry (5th-12th grade) meets at 6:00PM. The student worship band kicks off with engaging worship geared for students like you! Each week the Word of God comes to life through messages that relate to the students. Our students meet initially together but are then broken out into two groups, Junior Varsity (JV-  5th-8th) and Varsity (9th-12th), to allow these groups to be ministered to more effectively and appropriately as it relates to where they are spiritually and socially both on and off campus.  Then students breakout into “life” groups by grade and gender to discuss God’s Word, learn how to apply that Word, and share that Word as they share life with one another. LifeGroups are the best way to dig into the Word of God with other students and LifeGroup Leaders. As students meet together, LifeGroups encourage students to develop relationships that will shape the rest of their lives by immersing them in who matters most: Jesus. By helping them to encounter Jesus every week, students are transformed from the inside out as their passion for Jesus grows. The first Wednesday of each month we have FREE food served at 5:30 PM with game time following the worship time.
